IT’S THAT TIME!
JUNE 7th – 9:01 am & 11:01 am
HERE IS WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
We are taking the approach of letting people CHOOSE…When to come back, and How they interact when they do. Here is what we mean…Instead of us saying “NO” to everything that we used to love, we will let people choose what they want or don’t want.
We will be opening on June 7th as well. All of our 901 Kids volunteers will be temperature checked for your safety. If parents want to drop their kids off, great. If not, they can join in adult service. We will also transition to a disposable toy model as much as possible in the younger rooms (individual disposable packs of crayons and coloring papers). We have the ability to do additional spacing with extra rooms we have as well.
COFFEE & SNACKS
For the time being, we will not be providing coffee or snacks.
GREETERS, USHERS, VOLUNTEERS
We will not initiate contact with people physically. Our doors will be propped open so you don’t have to touch anything on your way in or out. This can be a completely touch-less experience if you choose. We will also not be passing our offering buckets. All in-person giving can be dropped safely in the giving stations.
If people want to receive prayer in person, with the laying on of hands, great, we’ll pray. If they want a distanced prayer, no problem. Just put your prayer request in the offering box on your way out.
NEW SEATING ARRANGEMENT
Our seating will be more spaced out and allow for distancing. This will limit our capacity to less than 100 chairs in each service. We will add more chairs as guidelines are loosened. We will also have overflow seating in the lobbies, or even outside if needed. We will ask that you allow for TWO chairs in between you and another family. It will look different at first, but it’s not forever.
WILL IT BE CLEAN?
Our ENTIRE campus will be professionally cleaned before you step foot on our property, weekly. We will have a robust cleaning process in-between, and after services as well. There will be hand sanitizing stations available almost everywhere. If you have been to our church before, you know we are way ahead of the trend on this. We have taken cleanliness seriously since the day we opened.
WHAT IF I’M NOT READY TO COME BACK?
Can people stay home and still have a quality service? YES! We are making significant upgrades to our online livestream so that people can have a quality experience even if they continue to watch from home for a while. If you are at-risk or are not comfortable meeting in person, stay home! It’s all good. We get it.
WHAT ABOUT MY SMALL GROUP?
We have had the best engagement in groups in the history of our church over zoom. We are leaving the decision on moving into homes up to each group. We will be transitioning some to homes, and some will stay on zoom…maybe forever. We want to meet you where you are at and keep you in a group. So, you pick.
WILL IT ALWAYS BE LIKE THIS?
This plan is written in pencil not marker. We will have to adapt and change as we go along. Be ready to shift as we go if needed. Flexibility is a MUST for all of us. We haven’t re-opened a church after a pandemic, and you haven’t attended one after, either. Our goal isn’t perfection, it’s ushering in God’s presence, giving excellence in all we do, having a genuine care for your safety, and reaching the lost and making disciples. We know that it is impossible to please everyone with our decisions. We ask that you have grace on us, as we have grace on you. We’re in this together!
